Now that the smoke has cleared, I’d like to close out this very successful Field Day. Nothing was in our favor on Friday, then a few hours before we started the weather and the bands got better. Our FD is full of moving parts that keep many people busy throughout the weekend. I’d like to acknowledge many of them for Rob, and myself….The Station Captains, the Dining staff team, The tower teams, The IT staff, The trainers of first timers, The station operators, The NJT staff, The many people that dealt with hundreds of random tasks all weekend, the the picture takers, the folks that keep one eye on the many wandering children, the mystery food donator, Plus more… You make the event work. As always, there was a MVP picked and brought my attention by many of our long time members. The FD 2025 MVP is ****Thomas KE2BUD****. Thomas seamed to be everywhere at once, as a operator, camper support, setup up & clean up. He may be a keeper. See YA next year, KP K2FN.
